Water washing: clothing is made of protein delicate health care fiber. It is not suitable to rub rough articles and wash with washing machine. The clothes should be immersed in cold and clear water for 5-10 minutes, and then gently rub with special silk detergent synthetic low foam detergent or neutral soap. (If it is small fabrics such as washing silk towels, it is also possible to use shampoo well), and the colored silk clothing can be repeatedly rinsed in clean water.
Air drying: clothes should not be exposed to the sun after washing, and should not be heated with a dryer. Generally, they should be dried in a cool and ventilated place. Because the ultraviolet rays in the sun are easy to make the silk fabric yellowing, fading and aging. Therefore, it is not advisable to wriggle the water out of the silk clothes after washing. It should be shaken gently, spread out and air the clothes in the opposite direction, and then iron or shake them flat until they are 70% dry.
Ironing: The wrinkle resistance of clothing is slightly worse than that of chemical fiber, so there is a saying that "wrinkle free is not real silk". If the clothes are wrinkled after washing, they need to be ironed to be crisp, elegant and beautiful. When ironing, dry the clothes to 70% dry, spray clean water evenly, and wait for 3-5 minutes before ironing. The ironing temperature should be controlled below 150 ° C. The iron should not touch the silk surface directly to avoid aurora.
Preservation: For clothing preservation, thin underwear, shirts, pants, skirts, pajamas, etc. should be washed and ironed before collection. For autumn and winter clothes, jackets, Hanfu and cheongsam that are inconvenient to be disassembled and washed, they should be cleaned by dry cleaning and ironed until they are flat to prevent mildew and decay. After ironing, it can also play the role of sterilization and pest control. At the same time, the boxes and cabinets for storing clothes should be kept clean and sealed as far as possible to prevent dust pollution.
