Types of Jacquard Fabrics

According to the function of the loom, it can be divided into small jacquard (small pattern) fabric and large jacquard (large pattern) fabric. Ordinary looms with faucet lattices can only make small circular jacquard. The circular changes of its color and texture will be limited, so only geometric patterns or local changes can be made. The jacquard machine can weave beautiful patterns with high degree of simulation by increasing the cycle change and richer colors.
According to the direction of jacquard, it can be divided into warp jacquard and weft jacquard, or warp jacquard and weft jacquard.
According to the control of jacquard, it can also be divided into mechanical jacquard and manual jacquard, and manual jacquard, such as tapestry fabric, knitted sweater and handicrafts, etc.
According to the production principle and organization structure, it can be divided into woven jacquard and knitted jacquard (knitting can also be divided into round machine and flat machine).
