Jacquard fabric refers to a kind of fabric that uses warp and weft weave changes to form a pattern during weaving. Jacquard fabric has fine yarn count and high requirements for raw cotton.
1. The pattern on the jacquard fabric is woven, not ordinary printing, nor embroidery. The fabric is woven with warp and weft weave changes to form a pattern. Jacquard fabric has fine yarn count, high stitch density, invariable shape, fadeless, good comfort, high grade and taste.
2. Jacquard fabrics can be divided into woven, warp knitted jacquard and weft knitted jacquard. The weft knitted jacquard fabric has good elasticity when pulled horizontally and longitudinally, while the warp knitted and woven jacquard fabric has no elasticity when pulled horizontally and longitudinally.
3. Jacquard fabrics can be divided into single-color jacquard fabrics and multi-color jacquard fabrics according to their colors. Single-color jacquard is a jacquard dyed fabric, which is dyed and finished after the jacquard grey fabric is woven by the jacquard loom; Multicolor jacquard is a yarn-dyed jacquard fabric, which is dyed and then woven on a jacquard loom for finishing.
